François Gauthier obtained a Higher Notary Diploma in 2003. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Law and Taxation (University Panthéon-Assas, 2000), a Graduate Diploma of Notarial Law (University Panthéon-Sorbonne, 1999) and a Master of Private Law (University Panthéon-Assas, 1998). François Gauthier is also a graduate lawyer.

Before joining the Notary Office Didier Lasaygues François Gauthier worked at Jeantet Associés, the Embassy of France in London, the Notary Office Cheuvreux for two years and at the Notary Office Thibierge et Associés.

A native French speaker, François Gauthier speaks English fluently.

Lawyer, lecturer at the University of Evry Val d'Essonne and real estate law professor at the Center for Vocational Training of Notaries, Marie-Elisabeth Mathieu joined the Notary Office Didier Lasaygues in 2006 as a consultant after having started her career with the law firm Jeantet Associés.

She has a Ph.D in law from the University of Paris II - Panthéon Assas and is the author of numerous articles and a book “Banking and Financial Services Online”, which won the Institute of France award in 2006 and was published in March 2005 with the publishing house La Revue Banque. In November 2007, she wrote a book “New Funding Guarantees - Practical Aspects of Contractual Collateral Securities and Real Estate”, published by EFE.
